The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need for a week or longer. There is a well stocked kitchen (feel free to use any oil, flour, pasta, salt pepper etc.) for you to prepare meals or plenty of local pubs, bars & restaurants. As well as wifi, there is an extensive DVD library as well as books and board games.

There are butchers, fishmongers, 2 supermarkets and an organic food shop within a 5 minute walk. Bantry itself boasts a cinema, churches and its own historic house and gardens.
In the surrounding areas there are beautiful walks and cycle routes and you can find maps and guides in the cottage. Robert is a keen equestrian and is very happy to arrange discounted horse-riding lessons or hacks if required.
